Operator Printer Cleaning Kits

Operators can and should perform both automated and manual cleaning of inkjet printers to maintain print quality and prevent clogged nozzles. Operators should initiate cleaning if they notice missing lines, streaks, or poor print quality. It is also recommended to print at least once a week to prevent the printheads from drying out.

Laser Printer Cleaning Kit $   

  • Toner Cleaning Cloths: Specialized, lint-free cloths.
  • Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA): Used to clean rollers and other mechanical parts.
  • Cleaning Cards/Sheets: Thick, coated sheets that are passed through the paper path to remove dust and dirt from rollers.
  • Swabs & Brushes: For cleaning hard-to-reach areas, like laser lens or mirror.

Ink Jet Printer Cleaning Kit $    

  • Cleaning Solution: Specialized liquid that dissolves dried dye, pigment, or sublimation ink without damaging delicate printheads.
  • Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA): Used to clean rollers and other mechanical parts.
  • Cleaning Cards/Sheets: Thick, coated sheets that are passed through the paper path to remove dust and dirt from rollers.
  • Maintenance Boxes/Sponge Pads: Replacement pads to manage excess waste ink during deep cleaning

LaserJet and Inkjet maintenance kits are essential, preemptive service packages designed to reduce jams, reduces printer failure, extend printer life and maintain print quality. It resolves issues like ghosting and paper jams. Typically replaced every 100,000 to 225,000 pages. 

LaserJet Maintenance Kit $

  • Fuser assembly: This is an important part that heats and fuses the toner onto the paper. It’s subject to high temperatures which makes it prone to wear.
  • Pickup rollers: These rollers feed paper from the tray.
  • Separation rollers: Prevent multiple sheets of paper from feeding at once.
  • Transfer rollers: They transfer the toner from the cartridge to the paper.

  • Print Cartridges: Replaceable container that holds liquid ink.
  • Pickup rollers: These rollers feed paper from the tray
