MMI’s primary business focus and expertise, since 1977, has been to provide cost-
effective and reliable office equipment service repair and maintenance. We have
provided service on hundreds-of-thousands of office machines to thousands of very
satisfied customers.
Service Most All Office Equipment
MMI provides service across multi-vendor product lines purchased from multiple channels. A sampling of the office equipment we service includes copiers, facsimile, printers, scanners, cash counters, micrographic, check encoders/ protectors/ signers, date/time clocks, typewriters and more.
Service Call Center
Our Service Call Center manages every service call to ensure that your service repair expectations are met. These critical factors includes not exceeding repair cost limits, response times, loaner equipment, preventative maintenance schedules and supply replenishment controls. Escalation strategies are implemented and management notified if any expectation is not met.
Service Help Desk
An efficient Service Help Desk is critical to achieve optimum productivity and reduce your costs. Help Desk provides your equipment users with immediate technical phone support to remedy the problem. Service costs are reduced and your equipment is up-and-running. Service Help Desk also provides you with a single point-of-contact and accountability.
Service Programs to Meet Any Requirements
MMI provides standard and customized service plans to meet any service requirement, including; Comprehensive Service Maintenance Agreements, On-Call Time & Material, Depot-to-Depot, End-of-Life and Multiple Service Call Discounts to name just a few.
Comprehensive Maintenance Agreement
The Comprehensive Maintenance Agreement is a fully featured office equipment service program that can reduce your service repair costs. It also provides you with a fixed cost for your budget forecast.
Provisions Include
- Same or next day on-site response time
- All wear parts replaced
- Unlimited labor
- Preventative maintenance inspections
- Loaner equipment
- Technical help desk assistance
- Service history reports
On-Call Time & Material Service Program
Time & Material service is an on-call service repair and maintenance program where you call for service on an “as-needed” basis.
Provisions Include
- Same or next day on-site response time.
- Labor rates for Los Angeles and Orange County are $75 per half-hour for each machine. $50 per hour for each additional machine.
- Parts, if required, are chargeable. All parts must be pre-approved prior to installation.
- Technical help desk assistance.
- Periodic billing, itemized by cost center with signed service work orders, is available for high volume accounts. This will dramatically reduce administrative costs.
- Service history reports upon request.
Depot-to-Depot
Depot-to-Depot provides service repair to locations outside of southern California. Our first remedy is to repair the machine with technical troubleshooting over the phone. If the problem is not resolved, we ship a box to your location along with a Fed Express label. When the return is ready, we call Fed Express to schedule a pickup. Typically, we return the machine within two days.
End-of-Life Options
Options for equipment that has reached the end of its electro-mechanical or technological life include reconditioning, exchange for like model, trade-in for new equipment or MMI will purchase your unit.
